- 2 tuna steaks (6 ounces each)
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp chopped green onions
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, ginger, garlic, honey, sesame oil, lime juice, and red pepper flakes.
- Coat tuna steaks evenly with the marinade and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill tuna steaks for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- Remove from grill and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Do not overcook tuna to keep it tender.
- Adjust red pepper flakes for desired spice level.
- Use fresh ginger for best flavor.
