Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add potatoes and cook until golden and tender, about 10-12 minutes. Remove from skillet.
  3. Add steak bites to the same skillet. Season with salt, pepper, thyme, and paprika.
  4. Cook for 3-4 minutes until browned and medium-rare.
  5. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic, stirring until fragrant.
  6. Return potatoes to the skillet and toss with steak and garlic butter.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Cut steak into even pieces for consistent cooking.
  • Adjust doneness by cooking steak longer if you prefer medium or well-done.
