- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add onion and bell pepper. Cook until softened.
- Stir in potatoes, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
- Sprinkle cheese on top and bake for 5 more minutes until melted.
- Serve hot.

- Substitute ground turkey for a lighter option.
- Add other vegetables like carrots or peas if desired.
