Instructions
- Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water.
- Bring water to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Once boiling, remove from heat, cover, and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Transfer eggs to ice water to cool for 5 minutes.
- Peel eggs and slice if desired.
- Toast bread until golden brown.
- Spread butter on toast (optional).
- Serve eggs with toast and season with salt and pepper.
