Instructions

  1. Cook gnocchi according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add sliced onions, sugar, salt, and pepper. Cook until caramelized (about 20 minutes).
  4. Pour in broth and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Add cooked gnocchi to the skillet and toss gently.
  6. Sprinkle Gruyère and Parmesan cheese on top.
  7. Broil for 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Garnish with fresh thyme before serving.
