- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 cup refried beans (vegan)
- 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced avocado
- 1/4 cup vegan sour cream
- 1/4 cup crumbled vegan cheese
Instructions
- Mix masa harina, warm water, salt, and vegetable oil in a bowl to form a dough.
- Divide the dough into 6 equal portions and shape each into a small disc.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook each disc for 2-3 minutes per side until lightly browned.
- Pinch the edges of each disc to form a small rim.
- Spread refried beans on each sope.
- Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced avocado, vegan sour cream, and crumbled vegan cheese.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use warm water for the dough to make it easier to shape.
- If the dough feels dry, add a little more water.
- Cook the sopes on medium heat to avoid burning.
