  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups diced apples

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.
  4. Alternately add flour mixture and milk to butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in diced apples. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
