- 3 large sweet potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 2 tbsp butter, cubed
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
- Layer sweet potato slices in a greased baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix cream, Parmesan, garlic, salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Pour cream mixture over sweet potatoes.
- Dot with butter cubes.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for another 15-20 minutes until golden.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For crispier top, broil for 2-3 minutes after baking.
- Substitute half-and-half for lighter version.
- Add breadcrumbs for extra crunch.
