- 1 package (6 oz) cranberry Jell-o
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 can (14 oz) whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1 can (8 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- Dissolve cranberry Jell-o in boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved.
- Add cranberry sauce and crushed pineapple. Mix well.
- Fold in chopped walnuts.
- Pour mixture into a serving dish and refrigerate for 2 hours or until set.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold into cream cheese mixture.
- Spread cream cheese topping over the chilled Jell-o layer.
- Refrigerate for another 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a lighter version, use reduced-fat cream cheese and whipped topping.
- Substitute pecans for walnuts if preferred.
- Best made a day ahead for easier slicing.
