- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp dried basil
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, oregano, and basil.
- Cook chicken in the pan for 6-7 minutes per side until fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens.
- Slice the cooked chicken and add it back to the sauce.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes, then serve hot.
Notes
- For a dairy-free version, use coconut cream and nutritional yeast instead of heavy cream and Parmesan.
- Add steamed vegetables like broccoli or zucchini for extra nutrition.
