Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, oregano, and basil.
  3. Cook chicken in the pan for 6-7 minutes per side until fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens.
  7. Slice the cooked chicken and add it back to the sauce.
  8. Cook for 2-3 minutes, then serve hot.

Notes

  • For a dairy-free version, use coconut cream and nutritional yeast instead of heavy cream and Parmesan.
  • Add steamed vegetables like broccoli or zucchini for extra nutrition.
