A delicious and easy-to-make overnight sausage and egg casserole perfect for breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 6 slices bread, cubed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread bread cubes evenly in the dish.
  3. Sprinkle cooked sausage over the bread.
  4. Top with shredded cheese.
  5. In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  6. Pour egg mixture over the bread, sausage, and cheese.
  7. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  8. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  9. Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes or until set.
  10. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
