- 1 loaf French bread, cut into cubes
- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread bread cubes evenly in the dish.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon.
- Pour egg mixture over bread cubes and press down to soak.
- Scatter blueberries on top.
- Sprinkle brown sugar and drizzle melted butter.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden and set.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can use frozen blueberries if fresh are not available.
- For a crispier top, broil for 2-3 minutes at the end.
- Let sit overnight in the fridge for a make-ahead option.
